NCAA case against Kansas hoops taken for independent review

The NCAA’s infractions case against the University of Kansas men’s basketball program has been accepted into a newly created independent investigation process that was created to handle especially complex cases. The Infractions Referral Committee said Wednesday that the case against the Jayhawks and coach Bill Self would go through the Independent Accountability Resolution Process. Kansas has been accused by the NCAA of committing five Level I violations, which are considered the most egregious, as part of the fallout of an FBI investigation into college basketball corruption.

Looking back at West Virginia basketball departures from 2018

The 2019 edition of the West Virginia basketball team finished 21-10 in a shortened season that would have seen the Mountaineers back in the NCAA Tournament. This isn’t designed to look at what West Virginia might have missed out on because obviously Bob Huggins and his staff pushed the right buttons, but more of a way to see how those that left the program fared in new destinations. Harris is a unique situation on this list considering he was dismissed from West Virginia and wasn’t necessarily a transfer by choice.
