We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Craps is the Dos Equis of casino games.
If you don’t know what Dos Equis is it’s a beer that’s advertised by quite possibly the most interesting man in the world. He’s popular, he’s deep, and everyone wants to hang out with him – that’s Craps.
Unfortunately, the deep aspect of Craps is what tends to scare players away from the game. If you’re not a seasoned vet, or at least know the basics of the game, learning the rules and regulations is like learning Japanese.
The basics are fairly simple: just start with a bet on the “Pass Line”. Roll a 7 or 11 on the first roll and you win (if you bet on the “Don’t Pass Line” you lose). Roll a 2, 3 or 12 and you lose (if you bet on the Don’t Pass Line you win). If any other number is rolled, a “Point” is established and you must re-roll that Point before rolling a 7 to win.
In order to play your first game that’s all you need to know. If you’re looking to learn more we’ve dished out plenty of articles in the past that’ll give you everything you need.
